Coliforms Water Quality Online Monitor

  • Description:The CLMG310 Coliforms Water Quality Online Monitor utilizes the enzyme-substrate method. That is, fecal coliforms can ferment lactose to produce acid and gas and generate β-D-galactosidase at 44.5°C. β-D-galactosidase can hydrolyze different substrates to produce a colored substance, thereby enabling rapid detection of fecal coliforms.
Characteristic

The CLMG310 Coliforms Water Quality Online Monitor utilizes the enzyme-substrate method. That is, fecal coliforms can ferment lactose to produce acid and gas and generate β-D-galactosidase at 44.5°C. β-D-galactosidase can hydrolyze different substrates to produce a colored substance, thereby enabling rapid detection of fecal coliforms. The medium used by the instrument can react with the enzyme to form a yellow compound. Continuous photometric measurement is carried out at a specific wavelength of light. The yellow color intensity is proportional to the number of coliforms in the water, which determines the concentration of coliforms.

Application

● Online monitoring in urban water supply networks

● Online monitoring of chloride levels in groundwater.

● Online monitoring in nearshore marine water quality

● Online monitoring of wastewater discharge from pollution sources, such as municipal and medical wastewater.

● Online monitoring of surface water
