  • Ammonia Nitrogen Water Quality Automatic Analyzer (Salicylic Acid Spectrophotometry)

    The C310 Ammonia Nitrogen Water Quality Automatic Analyzer is a product independently developed by BESCIENT TECHNOLOGIES. It utilizes the salicylic acid sodium colorimetric method to measure the ammonia nitrogen content in water, including both surface water and wastewater. Under alkaline conditions and in the presence of a catalyst, ammonia nitrogen, which exists in the form of free ammonia or ammonium ions, reacts with salicylate to form a colored complex. The analyzer determines the ammonia nitrogen concentration based on the intensity of the color of this complex. The principle employed by the instrument complies with the "Water quality - Determination of ammonia nitrogen - Salicylic acid spectrophotometry" (HJ 536-2009) set by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China. Factors such as excessive calcium and magnesium ions, residual chlorine, or turbidity may interfere with the measurement. Depending on the complexity of the on-site testing conditions, corresponding pretreatment systems can be optionally equipped.
